How to put your mailbox into 'vacation mode':
- Log into SquirrelMail by clicking here
and entering the username and password for this mailbox.
- Click on the Options menu
along the top row.
- Click on Message Filters in the list of squirrelmail options.
- Press the Add a New Rule button
- Select All Messages and press the move on button.
- Scroll down, and click on the Vacation radio button. You can change the message, but
we recommend only advanced users change the other settings.
- On the field that says
Addresses: Only reply if sent to these addresses: you must enter a list of email addresses
that you want to have vacation activated on. For example: sales@domain.com,bob@domain.com
- Change the default message to one that suits your purposes.
- Scroll down, and press the move on button. Press Finished on the next screen.
- Press Save Changes on the next screen!
You are now done, and any mail sent to this mailbox should get an automatic reply!
