Setting up Vacation Mode

How to put your mailbox into 'vacation mode':

  1. Log into SquirrelMail by clicking here and entering the username and password for this mailbox.
  2. Click on the Options menu along the top row.
  3. Click on Message Filters in the list of squirrelmail options.
  4. Press the Add a New Rule button
  5. Select All Messages and press the move on button.
  6. Scroll down, and click on the Vacation radio button. You can change the message, but we recommend only advanced users change the other settings.
  7. On the field that says Addresses: Only reply if sent to these addresses: you must enter a list of email addresses that you want to have vacation activated on. For example: sales@domain.com,bob@domain.com
  8. Change the default message to one that suits your purposes.
  9. Scroll down, and press the move on button. Press Finished on the next screen.
  10. Press Save Changes on the next screen! You are now done, and any mail sent to this mailbox should get an automatic reply!
