1. Click Edit>Preferences
on the menu bar.
2. Click on the "+" located to left of Mail & Groups.
3. Click Mail Server.
4. Change the setting on the screen so they match the following: "mail.solidweb.com"
will be the incoming mail server as well as the outgoing mail server.
Username will be the beginning of your e-mail account (i.e. john@solidweb.com
username would be john. Usernames must be typed in lower case.)
5. Click Identity located beneath Mail & Groups
on the left side of the window.
6. Enter your name. Whatever you enter in this box will on all of your outgoing
emails. You may use uppercase and spacing here.
Enter your e-mail address. “Reply to Address", "Organization",
and "Signature File" are optional.
7. Click OK.
8. To check for new mail select Communicator>Messenger
Mailbox from the menu bar.
9. You will then be asked to enter your password. It must be typed in lower
case. |
