Alias - An alias account can be used to forward messages to an inside or outside e-mail POP account. Below are some examples of how to use alias accounts:
- Bob at abc.com is in charge of sales and customer support. Instead of having 3 POP e-mail accounts he has a POP account for bob@abc.com and then he has an Alias for "sales" forwarding to bob@abc.com and an Alias account for "support" forwarding to bob@abc.com .
- abc.com has 2 salespeople. bob@abc.com and jane@abc.com . Both of them want to receive the sales@abc.com e-mail messages. You need to create a "sales" alias forwarding to bob@abc.com and a "sales" alias forwarding to jane@abc.com .
- abc.com has an employee that works from home 2 days a week. He would like to get his e-mail at work and forward it to his home e-mail address as well. Create a POP account for bob@abc.com . Create an alias for "bob" forwarding to bob@yourisp.com
